System processors are cleaned of all old thermal paste with a non-toxic citrus oil solvent and flushed with Isopropyl alcohol to remove anything that may interfere with the reflow process service. Heat sinks will be lapped to a mirror finish if they have heavy scratched or damaged by previous repair person.
